Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and give lifetime homes to abused, abandoned, and neglected donkeys and mules.  We strive to create positive change in our community through various initiatives and educational programs sharing the healing and goodness of donkeys.

Where do your rescued donkeys come from?

Our rescued donkeys and mules come from a variety of situations where they are in 

critical need of help. 

• Owner Surrenders
• Donkeys in danger of going to auction
• Direct rescues from livestock auctions
• Intercepts from "kill pens"

Once in our care, every donkey enters a comprehensive rehabilitation program. Our mission is to heal them physically and emotionally, preparing them to either live out their lives peacefully in our sanctuary.
