Jojo was the most "laid-back" member of the group. He was 28 years old when he passed.
With his classic burro markings, including a cross on top of his light brown torso, he sure was a unique and charming character. But before joining the RBDS herd, Jojo had to endure some tough times. He was a victim of bad cowboy roping practice and suffered from a poor diet. As a result, he faced both physical and mental damage. However, despite his horrid past, Jojo had never failed to remain the best boy! His resilient spirit and friendly nature shined through, bringing joy to everyone around him.
Our beloved Jojo, who had endured years of mistreatment as a substitute for cattle during roping practice, has finally found freedom from his struggles here on earth on June 11, 2023. Witnessing the immense trauma that his body had undergone over the years makes his story even more heartbreaking. Jojo's memory, however, will forever remain in our hearts, as we cherish the moments we shared with our beautiful friend.
Every animal has a special place in our hearts. Everyone is different, uniquely beautiful, and precious, and saying goodbye is the thing we never want to face.
But death is peaceful, and the ultimate gift we must give to our animals when we truly love them.
We will forever miss Jojo’s presence and his special way of pushing his head into us and rubbing hard. His favorite thing was going for a walk, any time, every day, and his love of carrots. He was crazy for carrots!
Rest in peace, dear gentleman Jojo.
