Meet Wookie

Wookie is a kind, gentle, and funny miniature donkey with a true survivor's spirit. He was originally rescued by All Seated in a Barn and found temporary foster sanctuary with Return to Freedom after being saved from a kill pen in Bowie, Texas. 

Initially, Wookie struggled with loneliness until he formed an unbreakable bond with Fiona, a jenny who also needed special care. 

Now at Rancho Burro, Wookie has become a brave protector for his shy friends, Fiona and Jenny. His sweet personality suggests he was once deeply loved, and his cool, gentle nature shines through as he settles into his new forever home.
