2026 Gala Recap
An Evening of Compassion & Brighter Days
Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating and supporting the long-eared residents of Rancho Burro Donkey Sanctuary. Thanks to your presence, generosity, and open hearts, we are writing new chapters of dignity, safety, and joy for every donkey that calls it home.
Our Story: A Life Reborn
In case you missed it or want to relive the heartwarming moment from the evening, here is the special animated story we debuted at the gala—depicting the journey from rescue and healing to friendship and lifelong peace.
With Gratitude to Our Community
Every donkey that arrives at Rancho Burro carries a past, but because of you, they have a future. Providing lifelong sanctuary—complete with specialized veterinary care, proper nutrition, hoof care, and wide-open pastures to roam freely—is truly a community effort.
To Our Generous Donors & Bidders:
Your bids, pledges, and gifts provide critical funding for life-saving rescues, routine senior care, and ongoing daily medications. You give them the second chances they deserve.
To Our Community Sponsors:
Thank you to the local businesses, artisans, and partners who contributed auction items and partnered with us to make this year’s gala possible.
To Our Staff & Dedicated Volunteers:
From mucking stalls and administering daily meds to welcoming guests with warm smiles—your tireless compassion is the heartbeat of Rancho Burro.
"You bring brighter days and make every life reborn possible."
