❣️ In Loving Memory of our Cherished Mammoth Donkeys Lolita, Lulu, and Peanut.

•We bought Lulu, at 8 months old, and Lolita at 5 months old, and they were half-sisters who arrived on Thanksgiving Day 2004. 

•They were our first donkeys ever and taught us everything about softness, patience, taking things slowly, and how much love donkeys have to give. 

•Losing these girls was something we never imagined would happen. The emptiness without them cannot be expressed in words. 

•Lulu died in 2014 at ten years old, after many health challenges, and we brought Peanut home as a yearling to be with Lolita.  

•We were traumatized to lose these two girls within weeks of each other. 

•Although these endings are sad, these girls made us so incredibly happy every single day! We had so much fun with them and laughed all the time! 

•Donkeys are like that. They keep you happy. 

•They comfort you. They know who you are and they love you, too.
